I made this blog to talk about sports, not just hockey concepts, but I'm really getting back into concept making and want to keep this blog going!
Let's start with a baseball concept. I like the Cleveland Indians design, aside from the obviously dated Chief Wahoo logo. I think the team can go without it, it was dated since the team stepped away from the Major League look (best look they every had).
The idea was to keep that Major League look, combined with the blocky 50's font and using the stylized I as a shoulder patch, and the city of Cleveland logo "city pride" if you will. Tell me what you think, would you want to see any more baseball concepts?
HJC is current running a "get your own jersey contest" for AHL teams that copy their parent teams. There are 9 teams available to redesign and I hope to redesign them all, but for now, here's the first 3.
